Photographer’s Notes
From my viewpoint at the Parthenon, the strata of changing architecture, where pantile roofs, weathered and orange, huddle against the unapologetic rise of concrete and steel. It is a densely packed narrative of a city that refuses to be just one thing. I’ve created an Athens cityscape photography print as an observation of how a city simply keeps building forward, not indifferent to what has already stood for millennia, but comfortable in it’s coexistence.
